Burning Regulations: Small brush, leaves, grass and similair can be burnt in small piles @ least 50 feet from structures, out buildings, privacy fences or mobile type property. Fire(s)must be monitored @ all times with a garden hose. Nothing should be added to burning piles after 5pm and must be out by dark. If any complaints are received the fire must be put out. Construction materials, wire or any hazardous type materials are NOT allowed to be burnt. DO NOT use ANY flammable or combustible liquids to start the fire, serious injury of death may result. Anyone wanting to burn large amounts of brush exceeding 4" in diameter whether in existing subdivisions or newly developed areas are required to gain verbal permission from the Asst. Chief or the Fire Chief. Special purpose functions such as bon fires @ night require the same permission and will be evaluated on a case by case basis.
